Who We Are
Amen.Travel is a hotel content partnership service operated by Afrofeast, based in Australia. We can be contacted at hello@afrofeast.travel.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to fulfil our services:
- From the booking form: Hotel name, your name, email address, and selected package.
- From payment processing: Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or banking details — Stripe processes and holds this data under their own privacy policy.
- From email correspondence: Any information you voluntarily share when communicating with us.
- From the website: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically for security and performance. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Confirm and fulfil your partnership booking
- Communicate with you throughout the project (briefing, approvals, delivery)
- Issue invoices and process payments
- Send project-related documents (methodology guide, agreement, content for approval)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third Parties
We share limited data with the following third parties only where necessary:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy policy applies to data they hold.
- Vercel — website hosting. Server logs may be retained by Vercel per their data processing terms.
- Google — where we upload content to Google Maps as part of your package, your property information (name, location, description) is submitted to Google's platform.
We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any third-party advertising technology on this site.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the partnership and meet our legal obligations:
- Booking and payment records: 7 years (required by Australian tax law)
- Project correspondence and approved content: 3 years after project completion
- Enquiries that did not proceed to booking: Deleted after 12 months
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act and GDPR (for EU-based clients), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object to how we use your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@afrofeast.travel. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our website is served over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never passes through our servers.

We may update this policy periodically. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
